Dataset: Ducks Unlimited Marsh Terraces RGB Mosaic Date: 2019-05-29 Dataset Abstract: This dataset consists of unmanned aerial system (UAS) imagery taken from a DJI Phantom 4 Pro carrying a DJI FC6310 RGB camera near Golden Meadow, LA in late July 2019. Images were taken with the goal of monitoring the efficacy of marsh terraces in helping to protect and restore coastal wetlands. Purpose: Collection of data is to provide visual representation of the study area in order to assess marsh terrace effectiveness. Data Description: Images are taken from the Phantom 4 Pro using the onboard DJI RGB camera. These individual images were then stitched into orthomosaics using Agisoft Metashape (then PhotoScan). The orthomosaic is in 8-bit RGB (red, green, blue) GeoTIFF format. NoData values are defined by the alpha layer (Band 4). If using ArcMap, enable the "Alpha" band and set to "Band_4" for proper display. Note: This data contains significant sun glint. It won't adversely affect most data, and masking it makes the mosaic look much worse, so it was left as is.
